Inna Uhlig of Middletown,
Norbert Morrison of Providence and Alison Horvitz of Fall River
opened an exhibition of
their work at the DeBlois Gallery on Saturday, April 1, 2006.

Uhlig
paints in pastel. Her first drawings were for fun to illustrate fairy
tales for her two daughters. Her take on Cinderella is in the show. |

Morrison says
he pounds rocks to find the image the rock might be hiding. He likes to
work outdoors and finds wildlife forms from the forest and the ocean in
his rocks. |

Horvitz has
titled her exhibit, "The Goddess Paintings" skewering the cultural
obsession with body image. Her work celebrates the female body in an
ironical style. |
