Are Tough Gallery
at DeBlois Gallery
are Tough Gallery", a tiny (10x11’) fine art and craft venue, is the
brainchild of owner/curator Pia Hogue. When the markets where she
and her fellow artists could sell their work closed due to COVID-19,
Hogue decided to help by opening a gallery. "These are my friends,
these are great people, they are hurting." The DeBlois Gallery
offered our gallery space for the month of February to give “Times
are Tough Gallery” the opportunity to spread out and feature even
more local art. Now it's the FINAL WEEK OF A LIVELY AND
SUPER-SUCCESSFUL SHOW! February 27th is the last day!
Explorations are DeBlois
artist Manjula Padmanabhan's insightful musings inspired by art
works in our gallery. Manjula, an accomplished artist,
illustrator, and author, considers these brief observations to
be appreciations, rather than critiques. As you browse through
the online gallery, look for the Explore button. And
feel free to email us your own explorations in the same vein!
We welcome you to our popular
gift shop, stocked with unique offerings from local and international
artists and artisans, during our gallery hours.
We practice all recommended
safety measures, ensuring that proper distancing is observed, with
limited groups of visitors in the gallery at any one time.
